Hey Musical Folks, Guitar Learning Experience is always fascinating for me. I try to learn new thing and make them sound good. I like to share whatever I learned in music. SO what if  I say the some of ways by which i learned guitar? Yeah I'm here to share you some useful tips from which you can be the Pro Guitar Player.

Here I'm gonna Share you Some youtube channels which are really good to learn Guitar, especially for Indian Songs. Ya as we live in India, we have to play Indian Songs. If any guitarist is not playing, I must suggest them to Play.

Anyways this list for Youtube Channel is not only for songs, some of these are really good for learning Guitar Techniques. Don't try to be simple and easy. Challenge your self. Ya you can be simple but not easy. So Here you go.

Tamal Gosh : This is my Favourite channel to Learn Guitar, either a Indian Song or English song or Guitar Playing Techniques. He will Explain these all things amazingly. This channel helped me and Helps me a lot. You should also check it out. 

He has one more Channel from this name : Tamsguitar

So check Out, amazing things are waiting for you.

TheGuitarThing : Well here you can not find any Indian Song to play but you gonna get some great tutorials which are extremely helpful if you want to play like international artist. I love Him. Go for It. He is the one of the best guitarist of India. He played For A.R. Rahman Sir. ;-()

He has another channel for his live performances : Chandresh Kudwa Watch Out!

Rajshri Learn : After some technical things, I'm trying to be simple and cool with acoustic guitar. Ya this is the channel to learn Guitar chords of some popular songs of bollywood. He is giving good justice to songs. Simple and Better.


With Simplicity he will explain Nicely. Go for it if you are passionate beginner.








Pawan Jalan : He is the most fomous for his works for old songs. But he has done some really good job for new songs. The Hub of Hindi Songs guitar chords with detailed explained strumming pattern. If you are finding chords for some of the famous songs. May be he is the one who can help you.

Adit's Guitar Lessons : One more Good channel that I came to know recently. This is not that Hard and fast and technical stuffs. But this is good to learn chords and strumming patterns for Hindi Songs. Nice Neat and clear Explanation. Justiced Chords for learning.

If you are hungry to play new song on decent way. Go for it.









Vijay Prakash : Again one more channel for Tamil Songs. Actually I checked this one song only, I didn't check rest of his stuff. Go and check it out. Do let me know how you feel.

How to play guitar with singers trained in Indian classical?

Hey Awesome musicians , hope your practice and performance going well. Yes many of you perform on stage solo or with your friends. Playing with friends is fun.
What if you find situation where you have to play guitar for a singer trained in Indian classical? And added he or she is really good singer. So you want to collaborate with he or she. But there is a problem in conversation about scale and then you find difficult to accompany him or her.

So questions arise in your mind at that time may be one of these :

• HOW to accompany singers trained in Indian classical on guitar?
• What is Kali 1 and Safed 2 and all that stuff?
• He is singing in major or minor key? 
• How to convert scales like Safed 1 or Kali 3 into western chords? 

So if you have one if these questions then your are on right place. Your doubts will be solved here. 

Before going further have look at the Keyboard

So as you can see here Iin the keyboard , C is considered as first note in any octave. Same is for Harmonium also , obviously.  So there are 7 white keys and 5 black keys in one octave. According to this calculating you can easily find in which key the song is based on.

For those who don't know : Safed = White      and     Kali = Black

I think you're pretty much clear now. So quickly take examples to understand completely. 

Whenever a singer say that give me Safed 1 , then imagine keyboard in your mind. It's simple 1st white key is C. So give him or her C chord. Ha...but Major or Minor? 

Let's take another example if she is asking scale Kali 3 then which chord?  Imagine the keyboard in ur mind... Ya its F#... Hmm smart Ha! 

One more? Ok let's take he is saying white 3 then ? Yes you're right yhat will be E. 

Now another thing came here , which chord to play? MAJOR OR MINORR? 

For that see, Each chord is made of three notes. 

For major : 1 3 5 and for Minor : 1 3b 5. See the ddifference is only for the 3rd note.

now in Indian classical sargam ,  Sa re ga ma pa dha ni Sa....so as 3rd note is GA then ask that singer that in your song is there GA komal or Ga Shiddha is used? 

Now you will ask what is Komal and Suddha? So it's nothing but Komal = Flatted Ga means flatted third and Suddha Ga = Pure Third. So he will say Komal or Suddha Ga.

If she is saying that it's Suddha Ga then it's a Major Chord and if it's Komal Ga theb its major chord. Simple! You  got it.

But what if singer don't know about GA KOMAL OR suddha then? Then just listen thr song if it's popular song you might know it's in major or minor so just transpose that chords according fo her scale. or by playing some initial notes of songs you can find is it based on Major scale or minor scale. You can do that no?

So basically when They say Kali 1 pr Safed 3 that specific note represent the SA of their songs. Got it? 

that's a simple trick to make conversion faster. Other wise all thr half hour you ill try to match each and every chord and sound will come khar khar khar. Zo this will give bad impression over Singer. So take care and Rock the stage. Your audience is waiting for you ;-) Good Luck

In Western, if Take C as root note then

Satyamev Jayate : This is not filmy song, it's from television series with same name. Prasoon Joshi wrote this with his heart. What a Vocal by Keerthi Sagathia and Awesome composition by Ram Sampath.

How to Play Guitar Solos as Introduction or Interlude of the Any Song (Steps To Follow) with example of Pyar Ka Pahla Khat by Vipin Aneja and Shushant Sharma

Hey Guys, its after very long time I'm interacting with you all. This time I'm bringing the Lead of the Cover Song Pyar Ka Pehla Khat by Vipin Aneja. Song is originaly sung by Amazing Jagjit Singh. This post is suggested by MR. Shahzad. Thank you for wonderful Suggestion.

Let we take this Lead as the first step for learning purpose to become pro lead guitarist by your own.

Before moving on to lead there are some things to clear in your mind about this lead (Intro).

> This Intro solo is really much advance type.

> This not that typical solo that you hear in recording as it is just improvising the raaga in western way. Like in Indian classical, no determined notes. all are played on the moment. Just Like improvisation in Western.

>This lead consist of lots of techniques say Hammer on, Pull off, Slide, Vibrato, bend, legato, chicken picking and sweep picking. yes only these! nothing else.

> So you need to go through all these techniques then you can make your own solos. Mr. YouTube has bundle of tutorials for this things (Do u really thing that Youtube is Mr. or it's Miss?)

> So go through these thing I'm sure that you will make your own solo, may be you are next 'Slash' born in India.  Just Look inside. Yes!

Now after this Teacher type attack, lets move on to Learn About song. (All these thing is really necessary to figure out your solo by own and make ur own)

1) This song is based on Raaga Pilu. Jagjit Sir Composed it. So solo notes would be obviously notes of Raag Pilu. 

2) But you have to play this raaga the way it's taken in song. Like here, in this song Gandhar Komal is taken but Nishad Komal in descending is taken which is characteristic of Raag Pilu.

3) The easiest way to start is Just play the Melodic lead of song. Notes of song which is meant to sung. Identify the Notes, Identify its treatment of notes, ascending notes, descending notes, etc. Then roam around that notes and find some beautiful tunes. Small and big licks, Slow and Fast licks, ascending, descending and up down. Then combine all these in proper order. There you go You have made ur own solo. Yes you are next John Meyer. 

4) Keep the patience. For first days its will quit difficult. But You will get used to it.

5) Not All songs are based on Raaga. Most of them are purely either on Major scale and Minor Scale. So Remembering Scales has great great great Advantage of Playing Leads. If you are still struggling to play scale then first clear that. Yes you must know all the notes of scale and their positions on fret.

Am I Speaking Like Hitler? Oops. But discipline is the first step toward success. Please go through all these things. May be it will take time but You will be a Pro Guitar Player. 

So Coming Back to Song (Pyar Ka Pehla Khat- You didn't forgot right?)

Song is based on Pilu

The General Scale of song is: Sa Re ga ma Pa Dha Ni Sa' for Ascending and
                                                     Sa' ni Dha Pa ma ga Re Sa

As you can see It's only Ga is Komal other are Shudhha or Natural. And nishad Komal. in descending. Here one thing must be cleared that Raag is not as simple as I illustrated here but keeping this simple to start. Raag is much more complex then I stated here. Yes complex not difficult. 

Ya in western way This is Natural Scale just Intead of Major Third the third note will be Minor third.

 So here Scale will be : D E F G A B C# D (Instead F#, here F) for ascending
                                         D C B A G F E D   ( Here instead C# only C) for descending

As third note is minor, The first Chord will be Dm. other are explained in the post for chords. (Remember Original is half scale down from this cover version for what we talking about. That’s on C#m)

Anyway, so roam around these notes. Find out some fantastic melodies and lick and combine all that. That's it! You are our Prasanna or Amyt Dutta or Ehsaan Noorani. We like whatever you play. We enjoy it if you enjoy whatever you play. :-)

What happened between Salman Khan & Arijit Singh which made big controversy?

We all love Arijit singh but also respect Salman Khan. We like to see collaboration between them but instead of collaboration there happened controversy. There some stories as rumours but what actually happened between them.

I heard the story which is true according to my friend. He witness this mess between Salman and Arijit. What he explained is like this.

There was a promotional event for Sultan where obviously Salman was coming and Arijit was also invited to join team to introduce new song which Arijit had sung for movie.
But what happened to Arijit singh he came to the event little bit late. Arijit came to the event in T- shirt and Sleeper as footwear. Seeing this Salman was little bit angry and asked the amazing singer, "What's this? How can you come like this?"

On this Arijit replied, "Oh I'm doing lots of live shows and came here just completing one of it. So tired of it, didn't get time to make me ready. But what differentiation of it. I'm not Superstar like you. I don't need that."

After hearing this reply Sultan was out of control and decided not to perform song sung by Melody king singer. He asked Yash raj films to remove Arijit's song from the movie as he is not serious for it.

Then Arijit made lots of explanations, called him, messaged him for apology but but perhaps Sultan bhaijaan ws busy with promotions. But Aditya and Vishal-Shekhar never compromise with quality, so replaced another Amazing singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Yes Jag Goomeya is that song.

Yes we must accept that Rahat has also sung it beautifully.
Arijit Singh apologised to Salman Khan on social networking sites, as this was the last option for him according to singer. He said "I've dream to sing for you (Salman). Even if you want to sing this song from another singer please put my version ans reprise" and after some time he deleted his post.
